This grant from the Department of Education allocates funding for modern language study to institutions for a four-year project period, enabling institutions to provide students with summer and academic year funding for language learning. - Involved searching every Harvard University course, including all professional schools, to discern Middle East content and compile data on relevant courses for AY 2012-13, 2013-14, and planned for 2014-15. - Compiled data on student enrolment in all Middle East-related courses - Researched impact of FLAS financial support on past students' career paths - Assisted in the writing of the grant during a time of departmental transition.
