To broaden my themed entertainment experience, I have taken on the role of Project Manager at Scenario, an up and coming scenic company in the greater Los Angeles area. I am currently managing projects at Disneyland in the new Star Wars attraction, updating the Matterhorn Queue and excitedly working on an upcoming Walt Disney Imagineering project in the works. My role has me working with all scenic departments from technical design to trades (carpentry, metal, paint) and following up with logistics and installation. 2016-2018 Project Manager In the past two years as a Project Manager, I have been responsible for high profile projects inside Universal Studios Hollywood. From a 25' high, 35' long Stuart the Minion peering over a building to greet guests, to a Polynesian inspired carnival game inside Super Silly Fun Land that boasts its' own 4 foot tall custom Minion Tiki, to a new home for Blue the Raptor in our newly re-done Jurassic Park attraction. In between these projects, I installed billboards announcing Harry Potter to the busy highways of LA to re-designs of food kiosks, retail stores, park wayfinding and how guests see menu choices throughout Universal Studios Hollywood. In this role, I worked heavily with Senior Designers and Construction Managers to create a team that was responsible for design/bid/build projects in-house for all Operating groups of Universal Studios Hollywood to include Food, Retail, Entertainment, Guest Relations and VIP Operations. 2014-2016 Assistant Project Manager As my career progressed, I was promoted to Assistant Project Manager. I was the APM on several multi-million dollar VIP, retail and restaurant remodel projects both on CityWalk and inside the Universal Studios park. I moved into the role interacting with our clients in-house as well as general contractors and their subcontractors for the projects on-site. I was responsible for setting up the projects, tracking RFI's throughout the bidding and project phases, all job submittals as well as all project logistics and coordination with the general contractor and their subs. 2011-2014 Project Coordinator I started my career at Universal Studios Hollywood on the ground floor as a Projet Coordinator assisting Project Directors and Project Managers in setting up, starting and closing small attracgtion and park upgrade projects.
