As Marketing Coordinator for Metrocentre, my responsibilities include:- Planning, delivering and evaluating mall events and promotions.- Developing new initiatives to help meet marketing objectives and maintain the Centre’s position at the forefront of the industry and within the Intu Properties plc portfolio.- Creating content and managing the Centre website and Social Media (Facebook and Twitter). ----- -- Responsible for increasing unique visitors and registrations to the Centre website through creative content, growth of social media pages and creating engaging content and managing the Centre social media strategy.- Working in conjunction with the Operations Team to maintain consistently high standards of customer service and to plan and implement new initiatives.- Retailer liaison and communication for both the marketing and operations functions at the centre- Budget management for individual events.- Producing and sending out retailer newsletters.- Producing a monthly marketing report for the company directors covering centre events, marketing budget spend, centre footfall, creative produced and digital statistics.- Working across various digital platforms and content management systems including Khoros, Dotdigital, intu.co.uk, CMS and more.- Working with a creative agency to develop top quality content as well as both digital and print campaigns.

intu Properties Plc – intu Eldon Square – Marketing Coordinator o Worked closely with the Assistant Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager to deliver the annual business plan and marketing plan in line with the overall strategy for the Centre and intu. o Developed event strategies and implemented event activity in line with campaign objectives and those of the wider intu group. o Responsible for briefing and liaising with external agencies, to produce creative and compelling advertising, PR digital and promotional advertising campaigns that will drive footfall and repeat visits to the Centre. o Built strong working relationships with retailers to drive content for marketing activity and events, provided full retailer support for all marketing enquiries. o Managed the intu Eldon Square website and all social media channels for a 5-month period in the absence of our Digital Marketing Coordinator. o Responsible for driving awareness of the intu Eldon Square Kid's Club by implementing a strategy, in line with the business and marketing objectives o Delivered a programme of events with a difference which included opportunities for PR activity. o Assisted with the evaluation of all marketing activities and reporting of results for each event. o Responsible for being a brand guardian on a local level, ensuring all marketing comms are up to date and meet the brand guidelines. o Worked closely with other departments to ensure campaigns are delivered successfully through sending out marketing updates each month and holding monthly hugs with teams to keep them updated on our promotions calendar. o Managed our event paperwork for each campaign ensuring everything is signed off by H&S in advance of the event.
