Jennifer through herself into many different things throughout high school, which gave her skills that she is using now at UCONN. She has done over 200 hours of volunteer work, as well as being a certified EMT which demonstrates her drive to help and give back to others, traits that will take her far in life. She was an active member in her schools Biology club, interact club, an youth court. Jennifer managed to balance her school work, club, and volunteering as well as maintain a job at a grocery store for over a year. This not only demonstrates her time management skills, but also organizational skills. Working in a grocery store is not always the easier job, and takes strong communication skills. It has been a pleasure to get to know Jennifer during our first semester at UCONN in our first year experience class.
