  My position requires me to produce and maintain current news content for Savannah's top news station. I am a broadcast journalist who writes for all of my station's digital platforms, which include the website, social media accounts and the mobile app. Some of the duties that I have executed during my time as a Digital Media Producer include: writing, managing and maintaining current online content for wtoc.com; monitoring international, regional and local news wires to produce fresh daily content for shows and website (AP ENPS, Oasis, Volicon Observer); Roku clips; Skype; driving website traffic; proofreading/approving reporter's stories for online content; creating and managing online contests; compiling online weekly community events as well as holiday events; manage and produce mobile content for the mobile app; creating online/social media polls; manage and maintain social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter/TweetDeck, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, Periscope, YouTube, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Reddit, Google+); generating engagement; acquiring new followers; monitor and respond to social media comments, posts and messages; scheduling social media posts through the social media manager Buffer; creating hashtags (Tagboard); staying on top of social media trends; manage online content for our live talk show; monitor/compile/present digital analytics (Google Analytics, Chartbeat, ComScore, Flurry mobile app analytics, Facebook Analytics, TweetReach); creating GIF's; approving viewer submitted photos/video; adding news content to the grid for shows and coverage; shooting/editing video for both web/shows, Videolicious; creating graphics for newscasts and for web; some coding; creating online photo slideshows; tuning in live shots; handling/troubleshooting live stream for mobile app and online.I have been the morning Digital Producer for the Daybreak show for 6 years now.
