Jennifer successfully managed all aspects of the Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport, from maintenance and operations to capital improvement projects and the contractors performing the work. She would be an asset to any airport team.

I had the privilege of working with Jennifer Hogancamp at Brownsville-South Padre Island airport when she served as the supervisor of airport operations. Our firm had been engaged by the airport to provide support in working with the team that would implement new checked baggage security screening regulations. Jennifer was responsible for working with her airline and other tenants to institute the regulations. This included the Transportation Security Administration, whose new directives didn’t always provide thoughtful implementation policy. Jennifer showed a strong commitment to meeting everyone’s needs and the requirements of the new regulations within the constraints of an outdated and severely constrained building. Her ability to work with everyone was notable not only in her concern for their operations, but in her consideration of how the various groups’ developing accommodation would affect airport operations over the long term. Jennifer understood the import of her decisions and constantly sought more information and points of view on how best to incorporate her tenants’ operations at BRO. I was aware at the time that Jennifer’s approach and manner was in the best traditions of operations management and vouched for her future success in airport management, which has been evident in her career since then, going on to become assistant director of aviation at Brownsville, a manager at San Antonio and airport director at Jefferson County. It is with great pleasure and pride that I recommend Jennifer Hogancamp.
