  I am a certified Special Education teacher that teaches Middle School Technology Applications, BIM I, BIM II, Digital Art & Animation, Game Programming & Design, and Teen Leadership to students ages 10-19 housed within the Mart Residential Treatment Center and the McLennan County Long-Term Facilties. We use methods from the Capturing Kids Hearts program from the Flippen Group. As a Process Champion and Teen Leadership teacher, I have received extensive training in these programs. Also, I serve on the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Committee. Our job is to establish criteria and incentives to reward students and staff for positive behavior and to establish guidelines to provide behaviorial support to teachers and correctional staff.
