I place radio commercials on traffic logs for 9 different stations from 3 different markets. I am in charge of client commercials, working with the Marketron trafficking system to insure that the Account Executives orders are in the system and that they are correct and I then schedule them to place via scheduler. I then look at a traffic log and begin massaging them based on definitions of each station and certain clocks and rules that may apply as well. After placing the spots throughout the log, and after careful evaluation of the log to make sure nothing is playing twice an hour and that competitors are gaped slightly I assign a cart #'s for the advertisers who don't have a current commercial running and then communicate with production so that they can produce or dub in the correct spot. Finally I close the logs through the system and the automate them out to your studio software/commonly known as dispatch. At the beginning of each month is my most important role, BILLING. I am in charge of applying all payments that come in throughout the month so that clients payments are posted and show the most current amount due. I then generate billing summaries that show me what had been scheduled and what needs to be done. Finally,I run the billing for the month so we can better figure out if all spots aired. I have a handful of other responsibilities that range from ordering supplies to recording commercials. Show less
