I am part of the Mobile Crisis Response Services Team in Region 5 in the state of Georgia. I am excited that BHL helps link consumers to extremely necessary Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse outpatient (and/or inpatient, if needed) services in rural areas that have not had it before, or not had it to this extent. My job primarily involves telephone follow up with consumers seen by Mobile Crisis Services; following up on consumer wellbeing, ensuring consumers were treated well by the Mobile Crisis team, and, most importantly, confirming consumer linkage to inpatient or outpatient mental health and/or substance abuse treatment.
