Currently this is a two year volunteer commitment to oversee the Desert Coast Region under the supervision of the region Board of Directors. Primary responsibilities are to oversee the Committee of three District Representatives and to work with the Soroptimist International of the Americas Federation and the Region Strategic Plan assisting clubs, the region and members as needed. The committee works together as a team to help educate clubs and individuals on how to raise club funds and how to support Soroptimist programs. I currently maintain the minutes of club meetings and assist the executive board as needed. However, most of my time is spent with writing and processing the club's monthly newsletter for our Young Woman of Achievement Luncheons, updating and maintaining our club website and adding content and maintaining our club Facebook page to keep the club relevant and accessible to members, potential members, and women and girls interested in Soroptimist International and its mission. I also assist the membership chair with soroptimist recruiting materials for new members.

Oversee the district's 15 clubs and help execute the Desert Coast Region Governor's mission for the next biennium based on the strategic planning of Soroptimist International of the Americas.
