After being at home with my kids for a number of years I realized it was time to go back to work/school. I love kids and have coached a few of my kids sports over the years. I have also regularly volunteered in their classrooms. Last spring, I decided to start subbing. After completing all the tests and requirements I started this September as a long-term sub in 4/5th grade class. I've enjoyed the school so much I decided to go back to school to get my credential. At my kids school they did not have a running coach for the boys. I knew how fantastic the Young Tritons running program is for boys. I stepped up to volunteer. We helped teach the boys team building, empathy and teamwork through running. At the end of the program they did a 5K! At my kids school they did not have a running coach for the boys.
