I only dabble in radio. My father is the REAL radio personality/talent, and this position is mostly a hobby of mine. This company is owned by a dear friend. I help out when needed, and really just do all sorts of things as they come along. Radio Sound Company is dedicated to bringing hometown information and awesome programming to the locale via AM and Internet broadcasting. It is small, locally-owned and locally-focused, and equipped to bring a homegrown flavor of community-concentrated news and PSAs...and of course, there's the music! RSC is seriously a lot of fun, and the man that owns it is a seasoned, intelligent radio veteran.

It is hard to give a "brief description" for what I am responsible for. As Closeout Specialist, I coordinate with several construction crews, construction managers and project managers, and a couple of electricians, to gather different data. I process the various data into required formats per standards as set forth to me by the vendor. I organize and file everything for quick reference. I review all data to assess accuracy of assorted reports and documentations by photographs, before filling out essential forms for submission to the vendor for review/acceptance/accualization of work completed in the field. I also format the raw data into the mandatory arrangements, and upload this for submission to the vendor. This position is fast-paced, demands precision, and relies on solid teamwork and real-time communication to pull everything together so deadlines can be met with as few mistakes or delays as possible. It really keeps you on your toes, and I love it!
