I have had the privilege to report to and work with Jen over my now 2 years at Trent University and the Manager, Housing Operations. Each and every day Jen demonstrates her passion for student success and development and dedication to the student affairs profession. Jen has extensive experience in strategic planning, facility/master planning, student development, supervision, and organizational development of management and unionized staff. In addition, Jen's strong foundation of crisis response for on-campus housing populations has brought multiple high level and high stress situations to a sound resolution with student centered based thinking always asked to be in front of minds when working the problem. Jen is one of the most exceptional leaders I have been able to witness and work with. I know that in my time working with Jen, I have grown exponentially though her support, guidance and coaching.

I worked with Jen on the REHS Selection Committee, which she chaired, as well as the REHS Returner RA Reapplication Committee. Jen is very knowledgeable about student affairs and HR practices which was a great asset to have on these hiring committees for one of the larger departments in the country. Jen would always seek the opinion and views from others to ensure that the group was making the best decisions. This led to the committee feeling invested and appreciated in their work. Under Jen's leadership, successful hiring was done for over 100 new RAs in a process that had about 600 applicants go through the interview weekend.
