  Providing research assistance for the SSHRC funded project "Drop-In Centre Programs for Young Mothers: A Standpoint Evaluation of How Drop-In Services Influence Motherhood Identities and Mothering Practices". In my role as research assistant I attend a weekly drop-in lunch program for young mothers, (ages 14-19) conduct focus groups and one on one interviews with the participants, and contribute to the ongoing research design of the 2 year project. In the next phase of the research I will participate in the analysis of results alongside the Primary Investigator and Community Partners. Show less
