      Corporate Recruiting was added to my position after the restructuring of the driver recruitment department due to the pandemic. I was tasked with helping the company grow by recruiting all types of employees from entry level to high level executives while continuing to manage the driver recruiting dept for the asset division, Circle Transportation.       I was recruited by the owner of this relatively new logistics company to put an asset-based recruiting platform into place and acquire as many Owner Operators as possible to expand our fleet and help grow the brokerage division. I successfully implemented a recruiting program, an Owner Operator page on the company website, an ATS for applicants and a workflow system with safety for applicant approval and orientation. I created a social media presence that branded the company and single-handedly leased 485 Owner Operators to the company in a 7% hiring ratio environment, due to their strict insurance standards. I did this by utilizing various forms of advertising, including but not limited to, social media, truck shows, driver job boards, referral programs, text and email blasts, drip marketing, resume searches, multi-carrier leads and at times, grassroots recruiting. I trained and managed 7 other recruiters, including 2 Operations Managers who were tasked with recruiting their own drivers. I also played a large role in the implementation of an email and text program with TenStreet and was involved in Beta testing for that program.

      I was hired into the Greatwide Dedicated Capacity Department by a previous supervisor that I had worked under at Greatwide DSI, Towne Air Freight and Morgan Drive Away. Before Greatwide and Cardinal Logistics merged, my purpose was to increase and maintain the owner operator fleet at one of the company’s most valuable distribution centers. I successfully increased and maintained the fleet to capacity by using grassroots recruiting; visiting truck stops, hanging flyers, coordinating small truck shows and job fairs, running ads on free classified sites and encouraging the current fleet to give referrals. After the merger was completed, I assisted in processing and overseeing the hiring and leasing on of the drivers and owner operators needed for the locations I was assigned to. While maintaining my own accounts, I traveled to various hot spots around the country, assisted in startups, increased capacity at locations that were in need and trained other recruiters on grassroots and the performance of driver orientations.
