Jennifer and I were apart of the Child and Adolescent Studies program at California State University, Fullerton. We took some courses together and I was impressed on her determination and strong work ethic. We collaborated on a few assignments together, and she always provided a different perspective that would make me think outside of the box. She also had a good listening ear and was always open to other’s ideas. Also, Jennifer provided strong leadership skills, especially during those group assignments, to help us meet coursework deadlines and kindly delegate responsibilities. As a current educator and the demands of this profession, I have no doubt that Jennifer has exemplary qualities to be a positive, nurturing, and dedicated educator to her students. She is always committed to give her best when it comes to her passion. Jennifer will make a great addition to any classroom, school, and district!

Jennifer and I are both currently working to obtain our teaching credential and master’s at National University. She is a dedicated, hardworking, and passionate person working towards her goal of becoming an educator. When working on assignments, her attention to detail and valuable insight proves to be one of her greatest strengths. She demonstrates excellent communication skills and is always a team player. Her ability to think critically and problem solve allows Jennifer to make thoughtful decisions, with everyone’s best interest at heart. I am proud to be working alongside her on this journey. She is an amazing asset to any school or organization!

I am currently student teaching in a virtual environment through simSchool. In each of my courses taken so far at National University, I have had to complete modules in which I am asked to teach in various classroom settings with a variety of diverse students as part of my student teaching education with National University. During these modules I have had an opportunity to practice various techniques and strategies I am learning to differentiate instruction, provide accommodations and adaptations for my students who need them as well as practice classroom management techniques and consider both my students academic and social emotional needs. Once each classroom teaching experience is complete simSchool provides me with an observation report in which I am able to view how I did at achieving my goals and revaluate how I would adjust my teaching for the next opportunity to teach my simulated students. Attached is my most recent observation report. Modules Completed so far include: simModule 1: Tutorial: Teaching (National Course ITL 600) simModule 4: Exceptionalities and Student Success Part 5 (National Course ITL 604) simModule 5: Teaching Diverse Learners 2.0 (National Course ITL 606) simModule 5: Classroom Management Grade 5 (National Course ITL 608) Show less

During my ITL608 course at National we were given an opportunity to co-teach with another classmate. My partner, Nicole, and I are both studying to be general education teachers aspiring to teach elementary school. We each taught two simulated classes individually on our own and then came together to co-teach two additional classes as co-teachers. In one class I took a leadership role and taught the class as the main teacher with Nicole supporting and collaborating alongside me and in the next class we switched and Nicole took a leadership role and was the main teacher with me acting in a supportive role collaborating alongside her. It was a great learning experience and gave us each the opportunity to be mentors to another teacher and share ideas in a live simulated classroom setting with diverse learners. Show less
