    • Retail Salesperson
      • Jun 2019 - Jul 2023

In July 2019 I joined The Secret Wardrobe in the heart of Cleethorpes; a small family owned business. Their ethos being to provide an exceptionally high level of customer service. It was the first time TSW had employed anybody outside of family and friends. I immediately felt a part of the family, being trusted and well thought of. I am an integral part of the sales team, working alone a majority of the time. I am not only responsible for the day to day running of the shop but to include use of the POS system, online orders being packaged and posted but also end of day banking and administrative duties and the updating and monitoring of social media posts.TSW were recently a winner of Love Local Day, coming sixth out of nearly 4000 independent businesses from across 200 towns and cities. I subsequently did a live Facebook interview with Luke green from Grimsby Evening Telegraph Show less

Retail Assistant, The Style Lounge, Cleethorpes Oct 2016 - Feb 2018 I joined the Style Lounge team in October 2016. A busy independent ladies boutique, my Style Lounge role involved everything from window dressing to ensuring stock was out, rotated and priced correctly, photographed and then advertised online. Customer interaction obviously had a key part to play as I guided and assembled outfits together for customers who very often were not sure what they were looking for themselves. From comfortable casuals to a more sophisticated ensemble depending on the occasion. I am and always have been in my element interacting with customers, my friendly approachable attitude resulting in great customer satisfaction. Show less

Front of House, Cleethorpes Pier June 2015 - Oct 2016 In early 2015 it was made common knowledge that Cleethorpes Pier was undergoing a major overhaul and renovation. It was to become a conference centre, wedding venue, fine dining restaurant, Victorian tea room and public House. Being local and very passionate about the regeneration of our town and its iconic landmark I had to be part of this venture! I applied immediately and became a successful candidate out of hundreds of applicants from all over the country. My roles involved working as part of a team in the fine dining side of the business, the Tearoom, Meet and Greet, Weddings and Conferences and was also asked to become the voice of The Pier on their telephone recordings!Unfortunately in October 2016 after a challenging and difficult first year of the business I was made redundant. • 2011 - 2014

Customer Service Advisor/Checkout Operative, Sainsbury’s Grimsby April 2011 - March 2014 Shortly after completing my initial training for checkouts, I was approached and offered the alternate position of Customer Service Advisor, which I enjoyed and found throughly rewarding. Working as a team member, I performed cash duties, product assistance, product knowledge and product ordering. I worked directly with all departments (colleagues and management), face to face with customers building a positive rapport to achieve best results and customer satisfaction. Consequently my interpersonal skills were further developed, being able to converse and communicate with a wide cross section of clientele. Show less
