I would definitely recommend Jenny as an engineering manager. I had the pleasure of working with her for over a year when she reported to me as Engineering Manager in the Platform Group at Intercom. She consistently set a high bar for software engineering, both in terms of code quality and team behaviours. What impressed me most was her ability to maintain high energy and never be slowed down by challenges. She was always looking for opportunities to accelerate. One of the most significant contributions Jenny made while working with me was leading the implementation of localisation in our product. She managed a small team of contractors and navigated the R&D team to influence most of Intercom teams to contribute to these efforts. Thanks to her leadership, we were able to fully localise the app without any slow downs to our pace of development of the core product.
