  Marketing and outreach strategy and project management (2003-present): - Increased responsibilities for planning, developing and implementing department-wide marketing and outreach strategies, policies, and procedures to inform stakeholders and the public on agency programs, regulations, and initiatives that help reach our mission of protecting Michigan’s environment and public health. - Develop and implement marketing plans, including identifying key objectives, target audiences, messaging, outcomes, partners, tactics, timelines, and budgets. This includes marketing thousands of events through the years, including larger multi-state conferences with thousands of attendees focused on the topics of water infrastructure, environmental compliance, environmental justice, PFAS, and more. - Coordinate the production of department-wide outreach materials, including promotional brochures, articles/newsletters/press releases, videos, fact sheets, presentations, and event displays. Communications tools management and staff training (2014-present): - Manage department’s GovDelivery email marketing tool, including maintaining over 70 lists with over 250,000 subscribers, updating internal process, staff training, and reporting. - Manage department’s Canto online photo library, including onboarding process with Canto company, core team training, implementing large asset migration, creating internal process, quality control, staff training, and reporting. - Lead efforts in updating internal communications policies, website, tools, and training. - Participate on the social media team and contribute to the department's content calendar. - Train staff on important communications issues/tools for the department. Social media coordinator (2011-2021). Editor of internal employee newsletter (2012-2018). Chair of Michigan Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference (2009-2013).
