Findex is an integrated financial services firm with a network of strategic financial advisers supporting small businesses via a full suite of integrated financial services including accounting and tax, consultancy, insurance, risk, investment, SMSF, and financial planning. I work within the Business Advisory division and am responsible for maintaining a portfolio of clients, ensuring jobs are completed effectively on time, on budget, and by meeting appropriate technical standards. - I have strong technical skills including a working knowledge of income tax, company tax, Division 7A, trusts, CGT, and reporting requirements. - I assist in preparing business advice, preparing income tax returns, activity statements, annual financial statements and special purpose reports for partnerships, companies, trusts, and a range of individual businesses. - I also prepare income tax returns for individuals. - I have hands on experience with cloud based packages including Xero and MYOB Essentials, plus have experience with accounting practice packages including APS and Handisoft. - I have been involved in preparing claim forms for various government assistance packages available to businesses as a result of Covid-19 and the bushfires that affected the Clarence Valley. - I complete and supervise engagements involving multiple entities and various structures from beginning to end. - I work with other members of the team, providing tasks to be completed, then reviewing and following up with constructive feedback. - I have the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients. - I act as the "point of call" for my clients so they know who they can contact and who they can contact should they need assistance and feel privileged to be able to help. - I have a positive attitude, am self motivated am able to work unsupervised within a team environment. - I have excellent attention to detail. - I enjoy working collaboratively so the team shines.
