Implementation resulted in an increase in applications received, so as President we increased the budget toward the award. ▪ Overhauled the communications process through the creation of a monthly newsletter ("In-stall-ments") and engagement of a Facebook group. Once President, these responsibilities were given to the Social & Outreach Chair. ▪ Worked with Academic Affairs to establish a Wellness Advisory Group. This resulted in improved alignment of communication and initiatives pertaining to 'wellness' between Academic Affairs and the Wellness Committee of the Student AVMA Chapter.
