Compass Live Art is an organisation commissioning and presenting interactive live art projects in Leeds, UK. I joined Compass Live Art as a Student Arts Producer to support the production of Compass Festival 2022. Working collaboratively with a dynamic team of producers and boundary-pushing artists, my roles included sourcing venues and props for each commissioned project, working on site at the various festival venues to co-ordinate the event and to engage with audiences about the work, and gained invaluable experience in installation and set design across a diverse range of projects. It was a joy to help bring the teams’ ideas and commissions to life, to develop meaningful relationships with our artists, and to see just how impactful immersive and interactive work can be when made free and accessible to public audiences. Radio Host

Jan 2021 - May 2021
I host and produce a fortnightly radio show on Leeds Student Radio called 'The Cyborg Reader: a sonic space for transdisciplinary encounters'. Fostering the cyborg philosophy of convergence and boundary transgression, the roundtable show brings students together from different academic disciplines to discuss interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary topics. I regularly promote the show and recruit new co-hosts for each episode on Instagram (@digitalsofeleeds) with engaging digital graphics created in Adobe Photoshop. As sole host of the show, my role also consists of researching each hour-length episode, organizing Zoom planning meetings with guests, and learning the technical skills of radio production and broadcast media. I've loved findings ways to rethink the traditional format of academic radio shows and podcasts, by combining conversations about academic theory with tracks selections which are thematically suited to the episode and which celebrate experimental music of old and new.
