Attention to detail was extremely important considering the scope of the various projects that I managed. Some of the primary job responsibilities included: • Develop capital expense justifications for projects estimated to cost more than $15k. • Maintain responsible CSC floor layouts in CAD and be capable of generating different design scenarios to aid in determining feasible future state layout options. • Re-profile SKUs in responsible warehouses to ensure placement within the warehouse is appropriate considering the sales history of the SKUs. • Continually seek for improvement projects whether they be tangible or intangible savings in order to make processes in the CSCs run more efficiently. • Create, document and enforce processes that are imperative for operation of the CSCs. An example of a most recent project was to to consolidate the warehouse of a recently acquired company into the Toronto warehouse. To consume this inventory into an already overly packed Toronto warehouse, reach trucks with taller masts were purchased to capitalize on air space, plus aisle ways condensed and additional selective racking added.
