When I started developing UMDawgHouse, a Student Athletic Booster Program at the University of Minnesota Duluth, I was searching for students who had extensive experience in sports marketing. My search started and ended with Jennica. She truly has a passion and vision for sports marketing, and the way she approaches life is quite remarkable. Every time we would meet to discuss topics regarding the organization, she always offered up ideas that were centered on building a stronger community. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about the people around her. Jennica’s friendliness and professionalism explains why her relationships with friends, colleagues, and mentors are so strong. Every task she was given, she completed with excellence. Jennica administered my organization's twitter account for a semester and did a phenomenal job in helping us build a stronger media presence within the Duluth community. I am glad I had the pleasure of working with Jennica and I firmly believe she will continue to touch the lives around her through her passion for people and sports marketing.

I've had the pleasure of working with Jennica in a number of roles. As her professor of Sports Marketing, I repeatedly witnessed Jennica's incredible enthusiasm for sports marketing, her energetic work ethic, and her natural leadership capabilities. In both team projects in that course, her peers rated her as the undeniable leader of their group. Not only was she talented in strategic and tactical thinking, she was also friendly, happy and pleasant to work with, helping to ensure that the team had a fun experience. Her networking skills are fabulous, and she never misses an opportunity to learn as much as she can from guest speakers, and from sports executives on field trips. I also was able to see Jennica work as a sports marketing intern at UMD athletic events as well as a Minnesota Vikings game. Here again, she was professional, friendly, and hard working. Regardless of the number of hours she had worked, she happily answered questions from fans and sports media professionals. She is persistent, upbeat, and reflective. I enthusiastically endorse Jennica as a professional marketer and look forward to following her career in the coming years!
