I was responsible for developing the scientific workflows and stakeholder engagement for the new EcoCommons platform. The goal of the project was to build a world-first collaborative commons that will become the platform of choice for analysing and modelling ecological and environmental challenges.I held numerous roles within the team and over the course of a couple of years I project managed, wrote the code for the collaborative SDM platform, curated large datasets and developed ecological modelling workflows. I managed the Scientific Advisory Committee and worked with stakeholders and scientists across the globe. I also developed and delivered workshops and training to current and new platform users.

I have completed PhD on orchid conservation which assessed large scale threats to globally threatened orchids and determined conservation priorities. This involved analysing and processing large species occurrence and spatial data sets to map the spatial distribution of threats, conducting semi-structured interviews, statistical analysis and modelling.Throughout my candidature I was responsible for development of research projects, collection of data, collaborating with Governments and researchers, writing and publication of five manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals, presenting research at international and domestic conferences.

I was responsible for ensuring all students worked safely and effectively in the laboratory whilst guiding them through course content. I was also responsible for organising the teaching team, liaising with students and writing and marking assignments and exams.
