School Age Teacher
-
Feb 2020 - Apr 2021
School-age teacher responsible for keeping around 10 children, ranging from kindergarten to fourth grade, engaged and successful with their online learning. In addition to keeping everyone on schedule (all have different teachers) and on task, I help with homework and school concepts and teach the social emotional skills applicable for elementary students. After school is over, we do fun "enrichment" activities to broaden their horizons, learn new skills, and find ways to be creative. My duties require me to have incredible multi-tasking skills (working with three or more students at once on individual assignments), management of diverse personalities and challenges, and patience.
