      I teach Inclusive Activities in Physical Education to physical education undergraduate and graduate students. I educate students about resources, adaptions, and equipment students can use to be inclusive of all students. I also open students perspectives by addressing that inclusivity is not solely about disabilities, it includes cultures, religions, gender identities, and more. Inclusion starts with the educator from addressing unknown internal biases, putting posters displaying diversity, and advocating for the students. I currently teach four sections of the course. There is a focus on universal design learning as the primary theory of the course. Show less
