  Congressional Affairs Department, North American Division Israel Government Fellows (IGF) is an elite Masa Israel program endorsed by the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel and The Menachem Begin Heritage Center. IGF offers outstanding and highly motivated young university graduates an experience at the heart of the Israeli government, combining internships in government ministries and related organizations with educational seminars. Highlights from my time at the MFA: -Created a post-midterm departmental agenda by manipulating data sets which analyzed demographic changes and voting patterns in the 116th U.S. Congress -Produced 3-4 policy reports a week which focused on the relationships between the US and Middle East, detailing security assistance and cooperation agreements in the region and the diplomatic impacts of those agreements -Advised top Israeli government officials on the potential and significance of all Middle East-related legislation in the US Congress, focusing on defense appropriations, sanctions, and security cooperation

  The Jewish Federations of North America – Washington is the legislative arm of The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), bringing the voice of 151 Jewish community federations and over 300 independent Jewish communities throughout North America to Capitol Hill as a prominent force in health and human service policy decision-making. JFNA’s legislative agenda is focused on bolstering baby boomer retirement policy, protecting Medicaid’s mission and funding, safeguarding non-profits from terrorism, and creating new alternatives for long-term elder care. Highlights from my time at JFNA: -Translated and organized over 90 Russian-language documents for the Center for Advancing Holocaust Survivor Care in order to make Russian-language services more accessible for non-Russian speaking care providers -Identified sections within the U.S. tax code relevant to non-profit institutions, simplifying the policies into a document circulated among the Federation system -Scheduled over 25 programming and lobbying visits for Jewish Disability Advocacy Day, facilitating individual meetings between 140 constituent attendees and their representatives

As President, I: -Programmed content throughout the entire year meant to engage the university's Jewish students, with the specific responsibility of researching and booking venues, creating floor plans for large-scale events, and communicating with vendors at a rate of 1-2 community events per week (more during holidays) -Led weekly meetings with 8-person executive board composed of Vice President, Programming Chairs, Engagement Chairs, Religious and Spiritual Life Chairs, and Social Media Chairs where we developed programming initiatives and planned out community activities while taking into account community reactions to previous events -Acted as direct link between Jewish students and the university administration, as well as the student representative to the GW Hillel Board of Directors with the primary role of determining the budget in conjunction with the Vice President
