In my current position, I supervise 3 master's level Residence Hall Coordinators and their buildings/areas. My area currently consists of first-time freshman in a mixture of traditional and suite/semi-suite residence halls. I also work with our department's academic initiatives, which includes our Residential Learning Communities and Faculty in Residence Program. In addition to the 3 RHCs, I also supervise 2 mid-level Coordinators (Coordinator for Academic Initiatives and Coordinator for Conduct and Safety). In the past, I have traveled to represent SDSU at conferences and recruitment events. I have also traveled abroad to San Jose, Costa Rica and Bali, Indonesia with students for their international abroad experience. Finally, I manage and oversee our recruitment process for Residence Hall Coordinators (from reviewing applications to the interview/on-campus process and on-boarding candidates).
