I’d like to thank Jenn for all her help and advice since I moved to Cork for my new role. I highly recommend Jenn as a recruiter, both for her skills and expertise as well as her friendly, easy going demeanour. I was always well looked after and any and of all my questions were answered super quickly. It made the process of starting a new job so much smoother and easier. Thanks for everything Jenn!

-Shadowed the Quality Assurance manager to learn on-hand what is involved in this role -Helped on the factory floor with production, packaging and cleaning while getting to oversee the production process. Glenilen farm produces yogurt, cheesecake, butter, cream and mousse using the milk supplied by their own cows. -I was given the freedom to undertake a NPD project during my work experience. The product I chose was a white chocolate mousse compote. We carried out a number of tasting panels with management. The product was a success and may be on the shelves in the near future.- (As at 2012-Glenilen have mousse compote product on sale) Show less

I was the evening shift supervisor in a busy, trendy restaurant in the town centre. The proprietor is an ambassador for organic and ethical produce who likes to source local produce to support local businesses. I maintained an excellent standard of customer service. I had sole responsibility over wine and beverage purchasing. I liased with wine reps and was involved in wine tasting. I managed stock levels efficiently in both busy and quieter seasons. I balanced the till, locked the cash in the safe and locked up at the end of each evening. Show less
