I worked with Jeni when she was with the Fisher College of Business (Ohio State University). She was one of the college's directors of marketing/communication. Jeni is extremely competent, always focused on results. She's not afraid to try something new - but she also isn't hesitant to pull back the reins if it doesn't show results. I've enjoyed keeping in touch with her over the years. Added bonus: She has a very positive ("sunny") disposition and a *great* sense of humor - working with her always made my days better!

I volunteer as the Administratitive Services Director for Aortic Hope, an association that supports survivors of Aortic Dissection and caregivers. The organization's goals are to Spread Hope, Create Awareness, and Provide Support to patients, survivors, and caregivers during the recovery and management of aortic disease. Please look them up. A tiny percentage of people that have this happen to them survive and it can happen to anyone. On August 16, 2020, I survived an Ascending Aortic Dissection and emergency open-heart surgery. I spent 2 1/2 weeks in the ICU, and eight months recovering. After my first day back to work, I went home and promptly suffered a Descending Aortic Dissection. The entire remainder of my aorta split to the illiac arteries (the branch to my legs). That led to more very complex and dangerous surgeries - and more recovery time. I'm alive, which is a true testament to my amazing surgeons, the hospital staff, my family's prayers, and my bullheaded personality! I will always have health challenges. My entire Aorta is replaced by wires and Dacron tubing, and a handful of arteries are bypassed to an alternative blood supply. I'm still here! Show less
