Directed the distribution of $15 million dollars of congressional funding for project implementation and managed the progression of over twenty aviation innovative projects. Result: This work has resulted in the deployment of 3 critical research products that optimize the flight experience and improve the overall safety of the National Airspace (NAS). RESPONSIBILITIES • Management of Project Maturity -Assessed and evaluated products and outcomes • Project Evaluation- Estimate Project Feasibility and Cohesion and with overarching NAS advancement goals • Engaged critical stakeholder to fund aviation research that addresses the future needs of the National Airspace System (NAS) • Strategic Planning - Employ LEAN and efficiency concepts to predict future technological needs of the NAS General Engineer/Resiliency, Sustainability and Climate Change Lead Office of Energy and the Environment Developed strategic methodologies to support agency-wide environmental sustainability and energy reduction goals. Results: This work resulted in an overall 30% baseline reduction of energy, water and greenhouse gases across the agency.
