Worked under the supervision of the surgeon, responsible for collaborating with the care team to plan, implement and evaluate the care of the patients. Responsible for the knowledge and adherence to surgical procedure set out by AORN. Responsible for the maintenance, care and upkeep of all surgical equipment. While working at Prima Center I routinely looked for and implemented cost saving plans. I was responsible for inventory control. I did my clinical rotation at Saint Mary's Hospital System. I was offered a job 3 weeks into the rotation contingent on my completion of my program and passing my certification. I finished my clinical rotation 2 months early and was able to start working in the operating room as an employee. I worked in all the surgical specialties.
