As an experienced educator with nearly a decade of dedicated service in a Kenyan secondary school, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the classroom. Currently, I hold the position of class teacher for the Form One class of 2023, where I guide and inspire these young minds on their educational journey. Additionally, I proudly serve as the patron of the school's Young Farmers Club, fostering a love for agriculture and sustainable practices among the students. Beyond my regular teaching duties, I am deeply committed to making a positive impact on the lives of my students. I run a mentorship program that provides crucial support to special needs students, offers guidance to young boys who are grappling with drug and substance abuse issues, and extends a helping hand to teenage mothers facing unique challenges. My dedication and excellence in teaching were recognized when I received the prestigious "Class Teacher of the Year" award in 2019, a testament to my commitment to the growth and development of my students. Furthermore, I have represented the teaching staff on the school's Board of Management, actively participating in decision-making processes that shape the school's educational environment. In essence, my journey as an educator is driven by a profound desire to nurture and empower the next generation, helping them overcome obstacles and achieve their fullest potential. Show less
