      Position Summary: The Director of Advancement Services primary focus is to lead the strategy and execution of the Institutional Advancement area's data management, reporting, gift processing and other processes. The Director is a key leader within the division and College who should act proactively to create the conditions for success in fund raising and alumni relations. Generate receipts, letters, or an MGO prompt to send to donor.• Scholarship Accounting - In coordination with Financial Aid and the Major Gifts Coordinator ensure that records of awards, awardees, and fund totals are accurate and up to date.• Mass Mailings - Generate accurate, duplicate-free, and updated address lists for all mailings to alumni.• Data Management & Reporting - Ensure that alumni/donor data is accurate and report requests can be fulfilled in a timely manner. Set data entry procedures and expectations for all IA staff.• Research and Analysis - Convert data into useful intelligence that will empower all IA staff to be more effective.• Database Training - Provide a program for IA and other staff on use, reporting, and capabilities of the database system.• Supervision - Supervise the staff of the Advancement Services area, ensuring that there is frequent feedback, a positive working environment, and a standard of excellence.• Leadership - Provide leadership to the IA division and the rest of the Colleges in area of responsibility, being sure to keep a proactive stance towards improvement.• Liaison - Work with other offices, including Information Technology, Financial Aid, and the Business Office, on projects, data, and processes that cross departmental boundaries.• Other - provide leadership to other areas of need upon request.Job Requirements:
