      My role was to facilitate as many customer bookings that the company could cater for while also ensuring an enjoyable experience for all involved. This required the handling of very tight deadlines, engagement with multiple clients of varying size and occasion, as well as negotiating measurable objectives with direct management and the wider organisation. I have learnt to use a number of booking related software and I am now moving our bookings platform (Bookatable) onto a more user friendly and widely used booking management system, Design My Night. In order to achieve this, I have had to conduct workshops with other members of staff to help them learn to use the new system, as well as attending a course to learn how to get the most out of the new system.       My daily duties are answering phones and directing them to relevant people in the team, processing hotel orders, setting up boardrooms for meetings and ordering in food, answering emails, booking hotels for directors of the company, organising and distributing post, along with general housekeeping and daily reports. I also kept the filing area (whilst thousands of previous jobs archived) neat and tidy, which required a lot of organisational skills (and a lot of patience!)
