IT Co-ordinator
-
Feb 2010 - May 2014
My role was to provide IT expertise and strategic planning to management, project manage IT initiatives, identify IT skill gaps and training opportunities, and provide comprehensive staff IT support. I was the onsite first line support for the IT infrastructure across the organization (hardware, software, servers and network). While at the company I created and managed their first IT management strategy, dedicated IT budget, policies and procedures. I performed regular training needs analyses and developed training plans to suit our needs and budget - sometimes running these sessions myself in-house, sometimes liaising with vendors to provide external training opportunities. During my time, I supported Alkira to expand and update their technology, growing our desktop and laptop assets by over 300%, running network cable to all offices, installing wi-fi in every location, and providing all staff with authenticated access to network resources. Prior to leaving, I successfully managed the requirements gathering and selection process for a client information database system to assist in managing new governmental requirements. Show less

Service Delivery Manager
-
Mar 2009 - Feb 2010
Working alongside the IT infrastructure support and development teams, I managed new customer service implementation, coordinating across all departments within the organisation. I gathered and documented customer requirements and workflows, and designed integration strategies to ensure efficient data transfer between business systems. Once processes were in place, I provided training to customer staff on using DA's software and service offerings. My first task in this role was to rescue a number of failing service implementations, which were exceeding contracted timeframes. I identified the causes of the delays, then created new implementation plans and renegotiated timeframes with the customer. In collaboration with multiple internal departments, we modified our processes and provided extra resources where needed to ensure the new timeframes were met, within budget.. My work on these projects resulted in significantly increased customer satisfaction with our company’s services as well as improving staff productivity and responsiveness on future implementations.I also: • Performed extensive process documentation, recommending changes to task flows, staffing and various physical and electronic resources which resulted in improved staff response times and greater visibility of key customer information among staff.• Successfully coordinated project teams comprised of staff from multiple departments, including customer representatives and staff in remote locations.
