California Montessori Project is a network of six schools in the greater Sacramento area, that offers tuition-free, Montessori education to TK-8th grade students. In my role, I get to work with our 500+ staff in all things HR related, including talent acquisition, credential analysis, DEI, CBEDS reporting support, audits, new-hire orientation, and special projects. I am also a member of two cross-district consortiums, established fellows at CMP through the Sacramento Valley College Corps, am an active member of CMP's DEI committee, and am a DOJ custodian of records.

Each semester, around 500 graduate students need to submit their thesis or dissertation for final review before graduating Texas A&M. This can be a very stressful process for them. I helped them navigate the process as well as reviewed their theses and dissertations for organization, style, and adherence to Texas A&M’s formatting guidelines. I also managed the submission database, created a streamlined template, updated the content in the document preparation conferences, and revamped the website.

About.com (now known as DotDash) used to be a company of 1,000 sites of different topics. I ran About.com’s 20th Century History website (http://history1900s.about.com), responsible for all content. I researched and wrote original, historical articles for a global online audience and had a team of writers also write content for the site.
