  De Vlaamse overheid wenst het accent te leggen op ambitieus ondernemerschap. Hierbij wordt de nadruk gelegd op de ambitie om meer in te zetten op bedrijven met potentieel tot doorgroei of zelfs hoge groei. De dienstverlening die Voka binnen dit thema wil uitbouwen bestaat uit een intensief en geïntegreerd programma voor snelle groei, aangevuld met info & advies, informatiesessies en kortlopende, intensieve trajecten rond deelaspecten van snelle groei. Tenslotte willen we met Voka ook een community opbouwen met snelle groeiers. De basis van de dienstverlening is het intensief, langlopend traject, waarbij bedrijven met de ambitie en potentie om duurzaam snel te groeien worden begeleid om die ambitie effectief waar te maken. De andere vormen van dienstverlening binnen dit perceel zijn voornamelijk bedoeld om potentiële deelnemers te kunnen identificeren en warm te maken voor het langlopende traject. Hierbij houden we steeds voor ogen dat het verbeteren van de toegang tot kennis van ondernemers over trends in hun sector en succesvolle business modellen belangrijk is. Show less

  -Title: "Essays on entrepreneurial orientation in privately-held family firms"​ -Short description: "Family firms have always been the backbone of our BE economy. Despite that, only few family firms survive beyond the 3th generation. Emotions, non-financial goals and continuous interaction between the family-, business-, and ownership system make family firms a complex but interesting type of organization. The aim of my PhD was to investigate how family firm dynamics influence the entrepreneurial process in these firms. In 4 different papers I elaborate on the question why some family firms are more entrepreneurial than others and to what extent their entrepreneurial efforts lead to pecuniary gains.
