I got the honor of meeting Jelis in the General Assembly Software Engineering Immersive Bootcamp. I can confidently say that she possesses a unique combination of technical and interpersonal skills that make her an excellent software engineer and teammate. We worked together in a team of three on a student management application for preschools. Her determination to solve problems by efficiently researching documentation was very impressive. She created a great working environment where all of us felt felt comfortable contributing. She was definitely a valuable team member. We're currently in a 12-week bootcamp that requires over 50 hours of work per week, and I have no doubt that her hard work will lead to a great career in software engineering.
