As a team of two, we embarked on a project to design and manufacture a robot car, utilizing the knowledge gained from comprehensive training sessions. During the training, we were equipped with the fundamentals of SolidWorks for 3D modeling, Eagle PCB for circuit design, Arduino for microcontroller programming, and Android application development. These foundational skills provided us with the necessary tools to bring our project to life. In the first phase, we created an Arduino UNO-controlled RC car using our SolidWorks knowledge for physical design and an Android application for wireless control. In the second phase, we expanded the project by integrating gas sensing capabilities. The car could be controlled remotely via the application or navigate using ultrasonic sensors. Show less
