Current Product & Specials Engineer • Lead on designing twin Cat C12.9 inboard engines into the Tiara Yachts 53 Coupe, previously only offering Volvo IPS II 950, creating an additional $10 million in revenue for company since offered. • Executed CAR’s (Corrective Action Request), improving the efficiency and profitability of manufacturing. • Manage any special request from customers. This includes quoting, designing, creating a bill of materials, and implementing all special request with minimal impact to manufacturing. Materials Management Engineer • Served as Engineering’s leader to ensure that all current and new product material specifications are accurately represented in the BOM and followed in the build process of manufacturing. • Methodically established and performed audits of the BOM by conducting controlled measured studies of materials (gelcoat, fiberglass, resin, adhesives, putties, and wood) across all areas of manufacturing. Further analyzed data to direct specified efforts of control in the production process where material usages were inaccurate. • Established the process to specify material usages for the BOM and manufacturing in the development of new product.
