At the Efteling I was responsible for coordinating, implementing and monitoring of all kind of daily activities within the Rides and Attractions Department in accordance with applicable guidelines and qualifications. I always encouraged and motivated a group of 130 employees to continuously optimize the key aspects of the company such as safety, quality, efficiency and courtesy. I was monitoring and providing feedback on attitude and behavior of the employees and translate this into the assessment interviews. I also took care for the continuous improvement on safety, quality, efficiency and guest focus and if possible I took care of the improvements myself. Finally, I consulted different departments such as the Supportdesk, the Technical Service, the Green and Environmental Service, the Security and Medical Department, the Safety Department and so on in order to solve technical failures and other incidents as quickly as possible in a professional manner.

      Side job at Rotterdam Zoo.

    • Imagineering Consultant (Voluntary)
      • Oct 2011 - Jan 2012

Since the Municipality of Rotterdam decided to cut back the grant for Rotterdam Zoo, the zoo faces a hard time. Because I had a wonderful time at the zoo during my side job I decided to offer my knowledge of Imagineering on a voluntary base. My offer was well received and so I created a new concept which optimized the interaction between guests and animals, without affecting the animals in their living conditions.

For the Municipality of Spijkenisse a generative concept is created for the city centre. Since the city centre was completely renewed in the past ten years, a new appealing and recognizable image was desired. The created concept provides a strong foundation based on the city's DNA and a new way of value creation through co-creation.
