I was honored to be entrusted with the responsibility of designing and developing a community-wide business plan which led to a designation of Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Area (NRSA) by the Department of Housing and Urban Development – the first of its kind in Honolulu County. • Sourced $2,000,000 in local, federal, and outside funding that supported the build-out of programs that directly and positively impacted low-income communities.• Drove research and development activities, raised funding, and provided local support and expertise.• Authored best practices and standardized operating procedures for new programs and initiatives.
