Prepare and file 100+ individual and 25+ corporate accounts from small to multi-million dollar businesses with revenue stream of upward of $5 million per year Prepare bi-weekly and monthly payroll, and oversee payroll information in conjunction with outside payroll service Submit worker’s comp insurance applications and inspect all of the documentation before clients’ payroll audits In charge of filing quarterly payroll tax reports, form 1099s, and sales tax returns in various industries Prepare periodic financial statements according to US GAAP, and post adjusting entries Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare and file federal and state income tax returns for individual, corporations (C and S), and partnership using Proseries Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a quarterly basis Set up corporation and dissolution with California Secretary of State and IRS Apply federal and state EIN, EFTPS and seller’s permit for multi-industry clients Handle clients’ notices from IRS, EDD, Franchise Tax Board and Board of Equalization Able to research and be familiar with current tax law changes, tax related topics, and manage a portfolio of clients with tax emphasis Provide assistance in sales tax audits and perform sales tax researches
