  Oppenheimer designs and manufactures a variety of control panels for aviation applications. Well-known aircraft that we support include the C-130 cargo plane, the F-18 fighter jet, and the Apache attack helicopter. Oppenheiner's particular specialty lies in lighting and optics, especially with reference to meeting Night Vision Imaging System compatibility requirements. As a project engineer, I see a product through its complete manufacturing cycle from designing the mechanical and electrical requirements specified by the customer to ensuring our purchasing department orders the correct components to ensuring the appropriate manufacturing processes are followed. In addition, I design and fabricate test fixtures to verify functionality of some of our more complex assemblies, and I also perform photometric measurements on panel lighting for our inspection department.
