Dr. Nash is the most amazing professor I've ever had. If it wasn't for him, I don't think I would've graduated Del Val! Not only were his lectures and notes extremely detailed and helpful, he offered something that no other teacher offered; the hope and belief that you can and will succeed! He often made special accomodations to help me with lectures and exams, in addition to being a really funny guy!!

Professor Nash is a highly gifted member of the DeVry University and Keller Graduate School of Management faculty. Dr. Nash engages students in a way that leaves them enthusiastic about the subject matter and his commitment to their education. I can always count on Jeff to take on the difficult students and show them a new way to learn the course material. It is with pleasure that I provide this recommendation for someone with whom I admire and greatly respect.

I am with the Battery Laboratory, Department of Physics, Faculty of Science. My role is to support graduate students in their research and to work as an in-house proofreader and technical editor. My greatest effort has to been to proofread papers before submission to peer-reviewed journals, graduate student research proposals and theses, and research funding proposals. For the last two years of my time at Udon Thani Rajabhat University, I concentrated on doing research and publication of research findings. Since 2019 and in collaboration with colleagues at other universities, I co-authored eleven (11) research papers on nanotechnology and lithium ion batteries. Additionally, I was co-author on a data mining paper that was presented at an international conference in February 2020. Additionally, I was co-author on a data mining paper that was presented at an international conference in February 2020. Prior to 2019, I instructed undergraduate students studying in the areas of Food Science, Biotechnology and Electronics Engineering. Additionally, I instructed students in our MBA program in the area of Operations Management. Increasingly, I am called upon to train students in English language usage. Other duties involve support of my colleagues and the university. I co-authored two papers in the field of biotechnology. At present, I am engaged in a research program that is conducting projects in data mining and international development. In my role as a native English speaking faculty member with a technical background, I serve my colleagues as a technical editor for research papers and abstracts dealing with science and engineering. Over the past year, I proofread and edited more than 30 papers and abstracts done my investigators at my university, Udon Thani Rajabhat University, for research submitted to peer reviewed journals and international conferences. I also do quite a lot of one-on-one and group training on how to write scientific papers in English. In December 2012, I won second place in a competition in which flight training practices were shared. My entry dealt with teaching fundamental navigation techniques in a way that discourages over-reliance on GPS. The contest was funded by the Saudi Aviation Flight Academy and administered by the International Association of Flight Training Professionals. In September 2016, I was selected as our faculty of Technology's "Best Teacher" of the past year. It was quite an unexpected honor. Additionally, administrative support was provided to our Computer Information Systems (CIS) program and our Game and Simulation Programming (GSP) area. I trained other instructors on course delivery methods and online technology. I have three major accomplishments of which I am very proud. I was asked to teach a graduate course in managerial statistics. It turned out that I have an ability to explain statistical concepts to people who don’t understand statistics. As such, I became the instructor of choice in this course. People who were afraid of statistics made sure they enrolled in my section. When I didn't have a section, they approached their graduate coordinator to request that I be assigned one. My second accomplishment was becoming a trainer in blended learning, which is a set of techniques to combine on-site and online learning. It was an enormous paradigm shift that was very hard for our organization and I was one of the key people to help our personnel through this. Lastly, I was twice named Professor of the Year in our university’s Philadelphia Metro. This was in 2004/2005 and again in 2010/2011, my first year of eligibility and my last year with the organization, respectively. I was a freelance flight instructor providing primary (private pilot) training and instrument instruction. Over the years, I recommended ten (10) students as private pilots and all ten passed their practical check on their first attempt (100% pass rate). I also did a good number of flight reviews and was active as an FAA FAASTeam volunteer. I was a freelance flight instructor providing primary (private pilot) training and instrument instruction.
