The result will be advances in pharmaceutical manufacturing platforms such as continuous flow, and disruptive economics, producing the world's most-used APIs and medicines less expensively, with consistently high quality, drastically reduced supply chain risk, and sharply reduced the environmental burden. This in turn enables the reshoring of the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, API and KSM to the US and the production and deployment of distributed pharmaceutical manufacturing systems to areas of the globe lacking a reliable supply of essential medicines, and thus expanding access to medicine - and health, in the US and around the world. Our region looks to build on enormous accomplishments, a create a cluster ecosystem that is among the world's leaders. We were fortunate to be selected a finalist in the EDA's Build Back Better Regional Challenge.
