      I was a contract employee for Raymond James Financial. I started out as a part-time employee and was moved to full-time after two months. I was hired on to work on password resets, after two months I was asked to join on full-time and go through their Technology Service Representative training program. I feel that it is imperative that technicians have a friendly and upbeat attitude as well as a lot patience.  Program application – We had a few stand alone applications in our environment, which required a lot of hands on work and communication with the developers in order to ensure full functionality and productivity.  New User setup - I was responsible for new-user set ups, which included Active Directory account creation and Exchange mailbox creation. I was also responsible for setting up and configuring the User profiles as well as their Outlook profiles.  Website trouble shooting – Indentifying compatibility/plug-in issues, which sometimes required upgrading browsers or installing different ones when necessary.  Hardware/software support – This included trouble shooting any and all hardware and software, as well as installing or upgrading existing hardware and software. After my first year we completely upgraded all desktops from Windows XP to Windows 7, which included also upgrading from Office 2007 to Office 2010, as well as deploying the new computers to all on and offsite employees. In the last year we also migrated from hosted exchange to Office 365 for our Email hosting.  High level of ticket closures for users – I am a very competitive person, so I strive to be the best.
