It is rare that you come across performers like Jeff. I had the pleasure of working with him for three years during his time at Chimp, collaborating on several projects. I was particularly impressed by Jeff’s ability to turn vision-to-strategy, and ultimately performance. A skill that seemed to come perfectly naturally to him. He also had an uncanny ability to anticipate the needs of clients, meeting them where they were with empathy and determination. Jeff was also known for his humour and instituting a monthly tradition, waffle Wednesdays. As a team member or a leader, Jeff earns my highest recommendation.

I've worked with Jeff now on a number of projects and have seen him consistently be a thoughtful, vision led leader with the operational skills to execute on any project he's taken on. Whether it is business development, speaking in front of large crowds or running an event I have seen him put his whole heart and head into everything he's done and would highly recommend him as a creative, energetic and experienced part of your leadership team.

We have been providing clean, safe water for 32 years now in SW Uganda through building gravity flow systems (GFS) and surrounding them with comprehensive water, health and sanitation (WASH) programming. The results are literally life-changing Visit Acts.ca to see more. Core highlights as CEO with an incredible team: 💰 4x revenue in 4 years 🚰 5x average number of people served 💧 Total transformation of our programming to help bring it up to and surpass world standards for the sector. 📈 A change in our governance model, navigating complex international requirements between Canada and Uganda 🇺🇬 Ugandan SLT now leading the Ugandan day-to-day operations 💸 Ugandan Fundraising arm established 🏆 Marketing Campaign winning Canadian Marketing Award 🖥️ Several large corporate partnerships 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 over 30% donor growth with recent 73% donor retention 🤑 40% Major Donor Growth, with approximately 70% of our revenue coming from Major Donors People often say “you’re so lucky to do this for a job” and the truth is, I am but not in the way most think. For me, the “lucky” part is the ability to work with this incredibly hardworking team probably more than any other aspect of my job. Show less

Before outsourcing became commoditized, I started Selected Assistance to connect quality service providers living around the world with businesses here in Canada needing support. We were in many ways a very early stage Virtual Assistance Company yet we handled much more than this. Today Selected Assistance is the umbrella under which I run consulting to Non Profits and other organizations in need of services. Over 8.4 million people in Uganda live without access to safe drinking water. For mothers, this means the risk of parasites and dangerous waterborne illnesses threatening the lives of their children. For young girls, it means walking kilometres every day with heavy cans down dangerous roads instead of going to school. Water is everything: education, good health, gender equality, food security. I started with Charitable Impact as their first employee at the Foundation. Working there gave me an insight into a type of technology start-up, it helped me cut my teeth on business development and customer success, and it helped me see how developers, marketers, founders, and the like all work together (or not at times) to bring a product to market.Core highlights of my time overall at Charitable Impact:💰 I started at the organization when we had just processed $3M in giving. I left the organization when we processed over $100M.☎️ I was the initial client success, then built the first client success team. This gave a unique insight into the world of consumer-facing technology products, how to integrate feedback into the development cycle and what to listen for, and what to ignore.💸 I once had a $15M for our two-person "high net worth" team for the quarter goal (for gifts to close). We hit it. 🖇️ Was the liaison with Benefic Lawyers, high-net-worth clients and the complex tax strategies facilitated through the platform. The education and exposure gave me an understanding of finance, high-touch sales and law that has proven to be invaluable.📈 Worked on SLT to develop early strategy and test go-to-market strategy for an entirely new product and category.🏛️ Rolled out their corporate giving strategy, leading a Business Development team to work with Earls, Bell, Capital Power, Glenmore, Hootsuite and more. Global Currents was one of the first Canadian online payment platforms built exclusively for the non-profit sector. As their 1st FT employee, I oversaw sales, product development, and day-to-day operations. We scaled this organization, eventually, to the point that it was processing payments for many of Vancouver's top charities.
